Jubilee Terrace – Kulturstiftung Landis und Gyr
This terrace house in Whitechapel was built to house a group of visiting artists from Switzerland. The diverse group of successful artists come to England and especially London to broaden their understanding of their art. They are individuals but, in the unique situation of Jubilee Terrace, find themselves with potential collaborators. The coming together of a painter, a sculptor, a photographer, a musician, a film-maker, and a writer or critic demands a great flexibility as well as a buiding to create a sense of community.
